GSO is a Christian effort, seeking to help students of ALL FAITHS for holistic well-being: body, mind, and spirit. We believe that spiritual peace and vitality are crucial to life and encourage students to seek that balance.

Christian students, as followers of Jesus, should want to grow in their spiritual walk and relationship with Him. We offer help with that process, whether it's finding a church, meeting and fellowshipping with local and international Christians, or learning more about Scripture and their relationship with God.
Students of other faiths are sometimes curious about what Christians believe, or who Jesus is. If they would like to discover Jesus, explore the Bible's teachings, or attend a church as a cultural experience, that can also be arranged. We provide a safe, comfortable, and respectful context for such discussions about spirituality and faith, for those who are interested.

If there is interest from any students, GSO offers:
- Individual Bible study.
- Group Bible discovery discussion.
- Discipleship & fellowship.
- Interfaith and philosophy dialogue.
- Prayer!
We believe in the power of prayer, and in the God Who answers prayers! We can pray with students, or take prayer requests about their lives and concerns.
Christ-modeled
Jesus served, healed, befriended, ministered to needs, and shared the Good News of the Gospel and God's Kingdom to many people. Some people followed Him, and some did not. Either way, He did not discriminate, and helped people without partiality. By doing so He glorified God.

We seek to serve international students in the same manner, attitude, and Spirit, as Jesus served people, and doing so to obey and glorify God!
To show a heart of humble service, Jesus told His followers:
"So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. I have set you an example so that you should do as I have done for you."

-If students have no interest in Jesus, the Bible, or Christianity, we continue to offer any help, services, and friendship, to the best of our ability and with sincerity.

-Not all GSO events will be religiously based. Any events or activities that are religiously based will be clearly stated.
